We collect computer equipment you no longer use, such as computers, tablets, smartphones, screens, etc. Our service is professional, secure for your data, free, local, eco-friendly, and certified. Insertech is an NRRPE certified refurbisher by the BQR (Bureau de qualification des recycleurs) and recognized by the ARPE-Québec program. We guarantee maximum reuse of your devices and ecological recycling of waste with a certified recycling partner.

When you donate reusable devices, you support our mission of youth employment integration, fight against obsolescence, and allow the community to have affordable and more environmentally friendly devices. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TAX RECEIPTS
Insertech can provide an official donation receipt for income tax purposes at the request of the donating company if it is eligible and if its equipment meets the following eligibility criteria:
- Condition: Equipment must be complete and functional after verification by our technicians.
- PC Computers: 8th generation i5 processor or more powerful.
- Laptops: 8th generation i5 processor or more powerful.
- E-readers.
- Digital tablets: 7″ and larger.
- LCD screens: Grade A, 19″ and larger.
The fair market value of each item is determined based on:
- The above eligibility criteria in effect at the time of donation.
- The condition of the equipment.
- The configuration.
- Additions made by Insertech.
- Insertech’s price list in effect at the time of donation.
Accepted Equipment
We refurbish the following devices to resell at low prices to our customers or use in community projects:
- Desktop computers, with i5 processors (8th gen.) or more powerful
- Laptops, with i5 processors (8th gen.) or more powerful
- Digital tablets
- Smartphones
- Liquid crystal displays (flat screens)
- Anything that cannot be refurbished is ecologically and locally recycled with a certified partner.
